As I turned to watch our wake as we motored along, I thought how will this affect the boat behind us? Ever think about how what you say or do will impact someone else you may not even know? Lately I’m becoming more aware of people’s motives when they share information with me. They’ll say “You didn’t hear it from me, but do you know what so and so said?!” No, I don’t and maybe I’m not supposed to know. That person trusted you with said information and now you’re here telling me about it. The vibration of mis-trust is a low one. You’re in it and before you know it, you’re surfing that person’s wake you never saw coming. This is the ripple in the pond effect, too. My advice is to politely say “Hey….you know what? I don’t need to know. If I do, they can tell me.” Don’t allow another’s poison of mis-trust collude with the wake your leaving behind. Steer clear of those low dip points and ride higher on the top of the wave.
